This session is ideal for beginners\, home gardeners\, and anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of dahlias through real\, hands‑on experience. \nWhat You’ll Learn \n• Safe and effective techniques for digging up dahlia plants\n• Step‑by‑step tuber division with guided support\n• How to identify viable eyes and healthy tubers\n• The tools and methods we use on the farm\n• Best‑practice storage approaches for strong\, healthy tubers\n• A wealth of tips\, tricks\, and practical insights to expand your knowledge\n* How to grow Dahlias from seed using your own seed house (provided) and a selection of farm seeds \nWhat to Expect \nThe workshop begins with a discussion and demonstration of how to divide tubers before you move onto your own hands‑on practice\, dividing a full clump of tubers with guidance. You’ll also visit our dividing and storage area to see how we process and store hundreds of tubers each season. \nThere is space throughout for questions\, shared learning\, and gentle conversation. \nTake‑Home \n• A clump of dahlias you’ve divided yourself –  to take home\n• The option to swap tubers within the group\n• A pair of snips and secateurs and gloves\n• A container + storage medium for storing your tubers at home\n• Available farm seeds \n* Printed Information Pack \n* New skills\, confidence and a deeper understanding of your dahlias \n*A hot welcome drink and morning tea \n10am–1pm • $175 per person
