A Bowral local\, she returned to the Highlands in 2021\, continuing her work as an exercise Physiotherapist and author of Let it Roll. Her guided belief is one we share : exercise is medicine. \nA class in two beautiful parts \nThis new offering blends the calm of the flower farm with the mindful strength of movement. \n1. Harvest your own Dahlias with Lisa and Liz \nBegin in the farm guided gently for 30 minutes as you wander the rows and cut a selection of your top 10 blooms to be wrapped to take home. A quiet\, grounding activity to settle your breath and arrive relaxed in your body for a session with Fiona\, followed be a healthy morning tea. \n2. DESCRIPTION:Anna Jahjah is a French-Australian visual artist and designer based in Austinmer NSW. A paper floral artist since 2016\, she draws on her studies in literature and art history at the Ecole du Louvre (Paris) and training with master artisans. Her works sits at the intersection of sculpture\, story telling and performance – notably\, her paper Gymea lilies was featured in the Unsettled exhibition at the Australian Museum (2021). Anna has exhibited across Sydney\, France and Belguim and regularly facilitates workshops in paper flower making and origami. \nEmmanuelle Lacassagne is a French – Australian interior designer and educator based in Ashfield NSW\, with a background in theatre\, linguistics and spacial design. Trained at the Sydney Design School and AFTERS\, she specialises in spacial narrative and audience experience\, informed by extensive work in theatre production. \nTogether\, Anna and Emmanuelle design participatory installations that invite people to sow down\, pay attention and reflect. They explore how crafted environments can offer moments of comfort\, presence and emotional connection within shared spaces of care. Experienced educators\, they love sharing their craft through community workshops\, having recently taught at the Granville Centre Art Gallery and the North Ryde Community Migrant Resource Centre. \nDescription of the Paper Dahlia Workshop \nCelebrate the beauty of Spring with an inspiring paper flower workshop by Fleurs Excentriques. \nGuided by paper artists Anna Jahjah and Emmanuelle Lacassagne\, you’ll learn the art of transforming exquisite Italian and German crepe papers into lifelike\, everlasting blooms. \nStart by making a paper dahlia inspired by the farm\, then choose a paper poppy or cosmos. If time allows\, make all three! \nNo experience is necessary. All tools and premium materials are provided and you’ll leave with beautiful handmade flowers to treasure forever\,along with the skills too continue creating at home. \nParticipants will also have the opportunity to purchase a take-home kit to make even more flowers after the workshop. \nA perfect experience to enjoy with friends or to give as a thoughtful gift. DESCRIPTION:Anna Jahjah is a French-Australian visual artist and designer based in Austinmer NSW. A paper floral artist since 2016\, she draws on her studies in literature and art history at the Ecole du Louvre (Paris) and training with master artisans. Her works sits at the intersection of sculpture\, story telling and performance – notably\, her paper Gymea lilies was featured in the Unsettled exhibition at the Australian Museum (2021). Anna has exhibited across Sydney\, France and Belguim and regularly facilitates workshops in paper flower making and origami. \nEmmanuelle Lacassagne is a French – Australian interior designer and educator based in Ashfield NSW\, with a background in theatre\, linguistics and spacial design. Trained at the Sydney Design School and AFTERS\, she specialises in spacial narrative and audience experience\, informed by extensive work in theatre production. \nTogether\, Anna and Emmanuelle design participatory installations that invite people to sow down\, pay attention and reflect. They explore how crafted environments can offer moments of comfort\, presence and emotional connection within shared spaces of care. Experienced educators\, they love sharing their craft through community workshops\, having recently taught at the Granville Centre Art Gallery and the North Ryde Community Migrant Resource Centre. \nDescription of the Paper Dahlia Workshop and Dahlia Harvest \nCelebrate the beauty of Summer with an inspiring paper flower workshop by Fleurs Excentriques. \nGuided by paper artists Anna Jahjah and Emmanuelle Lacassagne\, you’ll learn the art of transforming exquisite Italian and German crepe papers into lifelike\, everlasting blooms. \nStart by making a paper dahlia inspired by the farm\, then choose a paper poppy or cosmos. If time allows\, make all three! \nNo experience is necessary. All tools and premium materials are provided and you’ll leave with beautiful handmade flowers to treasure forever\,along with the skills too continue creating at home. \nParticipants will also have the opportunity to purchase a take-home kit to make even more flowers after the workshop. \nFollowing the workshop as the light softens\, you’ll wander the rows to gather your own selection of 15 Dahlias in a mason jar provided – choosing colours\, forms and textures that you most love. Our Saturday morning harvests are a gentle\, unhurried way to wander the gardens\, choose your blooms and enjoy the stillness of early light. \nBookings are essential – these mornings are intentionally small so each guest has space to explore\, pick and photograph their time amongst the flowers. \nEvery booking includes: \n\nA hot drink on arrival\nTime to Photograph your experience in the dahlia gardens\nYour choice of vessel – a classic mason jar or one of our two tin jugs\n\nYou’re also welcome to pre order warm scones with Cuttaway Creek jam and thick cream\, a simple little indulgence that pairs beautifully with a slow morning with the flowers. \nA Coffee Van is onsite offering additional hot drinks for anyone who would like a second cup or something a little different to enjoy as they wander. \nWhether you’re gathering blooms for your home\, creating a moment of calm for yourself\, or sharing a morning with someone special\, these harvests offer a simple\, beautiful pause in the week. \nNote: Upon arrival at the farm\, please park in the car park immediately on your left as you come through the gates. \nPlease walk up the gravel path to the farm and in through the beautiful farm gates.
