💐What a magical Sunday! Today, we hosted our very first Dahlias and Art workshop, and it was fabulous! 🌸🎨

Imagine watercolour painting these beautiful blooms, surrounded by creativity, laughter, and fantastic mandarin cheesecake! 😋🍰 Big thanks to our fabulous group for making this morning a treasured memory!

This second year of hosting you all at the Dahlia

This second year of hosting you all at the Dahlia Patch Flower Farm has been truely fantastic. As my website states this flower farm was built with the aim to become a destination point in the Southern Highlands.

With a clinical background in mental and physical health and knowledge of the impact of flowers on people, this farm through the guided harvesting sessions and workshops has really hit its mark. There is often a visible transformation in people from when they arrive, to when they leave.

Our sessions include tea and ‘proper’ coffee (yep we are very much coffee snobs), and sweet treats. There are games to play, magazines to read and there is no hurry to leave the farm. Friends gather and chat and truely relax. With kitchen and bathroom facilities, the farm is a welcome break for anyone visiting.

Yes, this is also my home, but the farm has its own space and our dream of people sitting under the shade of trees and enjoying picnics on the grounds is on target for next year. Very shortly the 3rd stage of the farm will be completed and I hope that you love it as much as we will 🌺🌸❤️

Our Thursday evening harvest was beautiful. So many happy smiling people filling their jars full of dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, pineapple lilies and Celosia.
I have my fingers crossed for an Easter evening harvest. Given that all of our harvesting sessions have been sold out, I think that there maybe some interest out there? Chocolate and flowers? Now that could definitely work.
Fingers and toes are crossed for a long season of flowers.
