What to expect:

Guided dahlia harvesting : Start your day by exploring the stunning varieties of dahlias with Lisa. You will fill a mason jar (provided) to take home your beautiful selection and arrangement of dahlias.

Morning Tea: Take a break and indulge in morning tea as you chat and connect with fellow participants

Vase Decorating Workshop: After harvesting unleash y0ur creativity with Emma as she guides you through various ceramic decorating techniques:

• Sgraffito : choose colours to paint onto your vase and carve intricate designs into the clay.
• Embossing: use natural objects like leaves and lace to create beautiful impressions on your ceramic masterpiece.
• Glazing Techniques: Experiment with painting directly onto the clay using vibrant glazes and oxides.

Pottery Wheel Demonstration: Watch Emma demonstrate the art of throwing on the pottery wheel – an exciting addition to your creative experience!

Your beautifully decorated vase will be glazed and ready to pick up at the flower farm 2 weeks from the date of the workshop, allowing you to showcase your unique creation at home.
