Does size really matter?

I find on the farm that our tubers range from huge sweet potato sized tubers down to these very small tubers. Every size and every shape. So, will the small tubers produce as many dahlias?
Yes! What we find is that smaller tubers often establish themselves quickly, leading to earlier blooms in the season.
As long as there is an eye or the tuber is shooting it has all of the energy required to become an amazing plant.

What a big weekend getting orders ready to post. Our ‘team’ consisting of my parents and friend/florist Liz have worked tirelessly over the weekend putting the orders together. How fortunate I feel to have this support.
Thank you to everyone that has ordered. Almost all of the orders will be posted early this week. Any tubers not yet shooting or having not stored well, will be refunded. Such a small amount compared to what is going out. Disappointing, but that’s nature.

The website will be updated again in the next couple of days with all of the excess tubers that are ready to find their new homes.

I’m also in the process of receiving all of my orders that I have made this year. So many new, beautiful varieties being added to the farm this year.

It was such a great day for a Tuber Dividing Works

It was such a great day for a Tuber Dividing Workshop. It was a little cool, but beautiful and sunny. All of the participants worked together as a team, digging, washing, dividing and sharing tubers and making seed houses. Well done team! 🪏 🚿 😂🌺❤️
