Endless gratitude to Coffee Culture for the dreamiest scones, to Darrin for being our resident barista, and to Liz — our ever‑wonderful in‑house florist — for bringing her magic to the patch once again.
There’s something special about harvesting in small, intimate circles… you really get to see people.

There’s something about this season in the Southern Highlands — the light, the warmth, the way the dahlias open like they’ve been waiting all year to be seen.

Early morning I walk the rows with a coffee in hand, checking on each variety, noticing the tiny shifts: a new bud, a deeper colour, a new variety …It’s slow, grounding work… and it’s the heart of everything we create here.

Even storms couldn’t dampen the spirit of our first harvest. Whilst most participants opted to rebook into later sessions due to the weather, this group braved the storm. With dahlias cut just before the rain, we welcomed our guests into a flower arranging workshop filled with blooms, scones, and laughter. Proof that beauty finds its way, irrelevant of the weather ❤️🌺🌸

A little milestone worth celebrating today — our new picnic bench and coir logs arrived, ready to shape the picnic area and the pathway up to the farm. Creating a space that’s welcoming and accessible, including wheelchair access, matters deeply to us.

The weekend might be bringing heavy rain, but brighter days are coming, and we can’t wait to share this beautiful corner of the farm with you under blue skies. 🌞
